List of Hobbies We Started (and probably ended) During COVID

  1. Baking - Nikki failed horribly (batter got on the ceiling), but Ally successfully made banana bread
  2. Drawing - They were a hard ehh 
  3. Origami - Various kusudamas that are now collecting dust 
  4. Canvas Painting - Tried to copy Bob Ross, but let's be honest it's not as easy as he makes it look 
  5. Diamond Painting - SO. MANY. DIAMOND. PAINTINGS.
  6. Running - Only lasted about 2 weeks 
  7. Knitting - The yarn turned into a tangled mess 
  8. Puzzles - Had a nice puzzle exchange with the neighbors 
  9. Subscription boxes - Not really a hobby, but spent a lot of money :(
  10. Pilates - Also only lasted about 2 weeks 
  11. Makeup - Bought a lot and did a full face to go nowhere 
  12. Skincare - See skin care posts 
  13. Started a blog - Hopefully it will last

By Ally Hello!  My name is Allyson Chun, but if you call me Allyson I probably won't respond. I've gone by Ally for my whole life. I am the middle sister in my family of five.  I've always been a quiet kid - super shy. So starting a blog with my sister may seem out of character for me. But I have always enjoyed writing and even took it as far as creating an "infamous" story (at least in my household) called Rosa the Great. (I might publish it here, if you're lucky. I promise it's a real treat). But that's all beside the point. Graduating during a Global Pandemic?!?!

By Ally  Three years ago, I began studying at the University of California, San Diego. Now, I am a 21-year-old graduate with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a minor in Business and I am unemployed. As an undergraduate, I looked forward to my graduation day. A day full of celebration confirming that the countless hours of studying, the late nights, and the many, many cups of coffee had finally paid off. That $90,000 piece of paper signifying my worth. I had a simple 3 step plan. I would, ONE: attend college for 4 years, TWO: get a part time job on campus and internships during the summers in order to, THREE: land my dream job right after graduation. (Easy right?)
