Hi Everyone! My name is Nikki, short for Nicole. I am the oldest of the Chun sisters. It was a quiet life before my two younger sisters were born. But when Ally came along 2 years after my birth, and Kimme 2 years after that, my life was never the same. I've always enjoyed being the oldest sister and actually, the oldest cousin in my family as well. I would say a lot of my personality stems from learning to take care of kids at such a young age. 

Why create a blog some might ask? Well, great question. I started a personal blog, Notes by Nikki when I graduated college out of boredom. I didn't make it far in that one (maybe I'll pick it up again, who knows). But when Ally proposed a "sister's blog", I thought it could be a fun activity for us to do while we start growing up and living lives independent from one another.

Currently I'm a technical recruiter, and I love what I do. It's so rewarding to be able to help people find their dream job. It's for sure my dream job!

I graduated from UC Davis (Go Ags!) in 2018. I studied Psychology with a minor in Communications. While at Davis, I was on the UC Davis Dance Team for all 4 years. 

I've been dancing all my life.  I was put in my first dance class when I was four years old and have been dancing ever since.  


Fun Facts:


  • I was born in November of 1996
  • I'm the clumsiest person you will ever meet 
    • How clumsy you may ask? I managed to burn myself on hot soup, and yes it left a permanent mark
  • I like reading, or listening to audiobooks
  • I'm an ENFJ (or P depending on my mood that day)
  • I'm the shortest of the Chun sisters :(

By Ally Hello!  My name is Allyson Chun, but if you call me Allyson I probably won't respond. I've gone by Ally for my whole life. I am the middle sister in my family of five.  I've always been a quiet kid - super shy. So starting a blog with my sister may seem out of character for me. But I have always enjoyed writing and even took it as far as creating an "infamous" story (at least in my household) called Rosa the Great. (I might publish it here, if you're lucky. Graduating during a Global Pandemic?!?!

By Ally  Three years ago, I began studying at the University of California, San Diego. Now, I am a 21-year-old graduate with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a minor in Business and I am unemployed. As an undergraduate, I looked forward to my graduation day. A day full of celebration confirming that the countless hours of studying, the late nights, and the many, many cups of coffee had finally paid off. That $90,000 piece of paper signifying my worth. I had a simple 3 step plan. I would, ONE: attend college for 4 years, TWO: get a part time job on campus and internships during the summers in order to, THREE: land my dream job right after graduation. (Easy right?)
